Els 2 ep ultims de Hervé el seu hit Zombies (Yes I seen Zombies…..) amb 2 remixes de Franzy Scanner i un tema extra, i el Blaze It amb el gran remix de Reset! i un tema extra. Els 2 ep son avançament del nou album ‘Ghetto Bass 2′.

Another killer track from Herve’s “Ghetto Bass 2″ mix CD. “Blaze It” sees Herve donning his old school hardcore rave hat and getting down with the Amen breaks like he’s spent the past few months digging through his old Suburban Base and Reinforced twelves. On the flip Reset refix the track in a monster fidget house style that will make you crazy menkal on the dancefloor at 1am. Just to complete the picture our Herve also throws in “No Sleep”, a part-house, part UKG type of funky thang. Big.

La veritat és que poca cosa o res he trobat referent a aquest grup, un myspace gairebé buit, no apareixen referències per gairebé cap lloc, i el disc és gratuït, anteriorment tenien editat un sol tema. El disc, doncs això, un post-punk experimental, interessant i arriscada proposta.

The Brixton Windmill: Stripped down experimental post-punk proving that good music doesn’t need a rhythm guitar being jiggy all the over place.

This is Offset: Experimental post-punkers Table Manners are very much in the minimalist Prinzhorn Dance School vein, with an authentic early 80s feel despite having only formed a year ago. Always impressive live, they’ve recorded a fantastic set of tracks and released it all as a free download album!

‘Sharp 1200′ kicks the collection off with a compelling sample before the ominous drum line leads into this fantastic cold drone track. “Midnight has never been so sharp”, indeed.

Post-Rock-Art electrónic de Paris, esta molt be el disc, es com un soundtrack bastant profund, molts elements analógics d’electronica, temes progressius….. Gran nom del disc, i la portada…. molt descriptiu del so del disc… MOLT RECOMENABLE!!!!

En una entrevista es presenten com Remi i Steve, dos compositors, fotògrafs i dissenyadors gràfics, que van començar a treballar junts el 2001 com un grup de hip hop (potser per què alguns han anomenat com “trip- hop “), però han evolucionat i llançarà el seu primer EP Tempus Fugit el 26 d’abril, seguit per un altre EP, shows en viu i exposicions d’art.

his CD marks the first release with their new line-up consisting of three guitarists, two drummers and a bassist which only seems to add to the immensity of their sound, not hinder it. And to their credit, Year Of No Light have created one of the best ambient metal CD’s I’ve had the pleasure of hearing. My only complaint, as with most instrumental bands, is the length of their songs which could possibly bore an ordinary listener. But for me, this album is just right. -Stereokiller-
