Segundo album del musico de dub de Bristol Slackbaba, partiendo de bases dub y mezclandolas con electrónica-psicodelia-downtempo-break-drum ‘n’ bass…., esta muy bien el disco, va creando una atmósfera que se va desarrollando a lo largo del disco, que se ayuda por la larga duración de los temas, entre los 5 y 8 minutos, cosa que agradece en este caso, para dejarse llevar, un disco que esta muy muy bien, un disco en el que te quedas atrapado con sus ritmos y breaks, pero todo muy tranquilo. Muy Recomendable!!!!!!

As one of a new generation of British psychedelic artists, Slackbaba’s individual style has produced some memorable live sets; turning down tempo audiences into full tribal stompers and delivering his cross-boundary hybrid grooves with impunity. His music draws the listener through a labyrinth of pulsing rhythms and mind-bending sonic states, demonstrating his skills in sound manipulation and delivering a new take on psychedelic electronica.

Since the release of the critically acclaimed ‘And The Beat Goes Om’, Slackbaba has shared the stage around the globe from California to Japan and India with such greats as Eat Static, Shpongle, System 7 and The Orb, and continues to impress crowds the world over with his unique blend of musical influences. Along with releases on compilations, he has recently collaborated with System 7 for their ‘Phoenix’ album and provided music for ‘Hottest Party 2′ on the Nintendo Wii.

Slackbaba’s second studio album, ‘Perverting Mankind’, will be released in March 2010. A cutting edge selection of 11 genre-bending tracks, which take influence from a wide range of musical styles, from Dubstep, Breakbeat and Drum & Bass, to House and Psychedelic Trance. This album blurs sonic boundaries with ease and effortlessly pushes the envelope of electronic music further. This promises to be one of the must-have releases of 2010.

Buen debut de este duo de Suiza con una revisión del italo disco-new wave-synth pop, 4 temas (que temas, muy buenos) y 2 remixes. Sintetizadores a los 80 y esos ritmos que evocan la puesta de sol de pelicula ochentera. Muy happy y buen rollo, son temas instrumentales, como la banda sonora de la película.

On the originals, the nu-italo duo provide us with upbeat vibes, flowing with smooth and beautiful synths and solos, really taking us back to that golden 80s era with convertible corvettes and soaking up the sun.

On Remix duty, we have the space disco master himself, FM Attack, providing us with that vintage cosmic sound, and really proving that love can be anywhere.

Lazercat & Shawn Mac mix things up providing a deep, melodic sound with a touch of italo-prog to give it that refreshing sunny vibe.
