Empire Of The Sun is a collaboration between Luke Steele (The Sleepy Jackson) and Nick Littlemore (Pnau) and their debut release Walking On A Dream* is one of the most eagerly anticipated Australian albums of the year. Since the release of the first single Walking On A Dream* and the eye-popping video shot on location in Shanghai, China just prior to the Olympics, the online world and blogsphere has been ablaze with talk about Empire Of The Sun including a posting on Perez Hilton which attracted over 40,000 views in just 2 days.

‘So Many Nights’ title track first appeared on DJ Mehdi’s Christmas Mixtape for the Ed Banger blog, Cool Cats. The EP’s four tracks show yet again that BURNS has a musical breadth beyond any of his British noise and disco peers. His musical duality has been evident from the start, but the depth to his productions increases with every release; ‘Epilogue’, ‘Kiss N’ Hold’ and ‘Fourteen’ show why he’s being called one of the UK’s most promising electronic artists for a generation – a fitting accolade for a new decade.
