Gargantuan floor slayer from Joker!!! For his first solo drop of 2010 (remixes discounted) Brizzle’s boy wonder unleashes the eyebrow scorching riffs of ‘Tron’, a dubstep track with more renewable energy than the north sea. He presents it on his own Kapsize imprint backed up with an exceedingly heavy VIP refix, retooling the intro for dramatic effect and warping the drops into crowd-mobilising weapons of sheer destruction. It probably ranks amongst his best cuts to date, concentrating his formula into a stylishly efficient mass of crushing electro riffage that owes as much to Terror Danjah as it does Herbie Hancock. If you’ve been in the presence of a half-decent dubstep rave in the past 6 months you’ve no doubt been witness to it’s overwhelming anthemic effect, whether played from radio rips or leaked copies, the effect is the same everywhere.
