Ep de remixes de Rudi Zygadlo y su peculiar interpretación del Dubstep mezclandolo con gran variedad de estilos/influencias, gran album ‘Great Western Laymen’ de este jovencisimo artista, el Ep 4 remixes (2 del gran tema ‘Resealable Friendship’) entre ellos Raffertie, Starkey, Slugabed y Doshy, 1 un track nuevo

The single is about a Special Friendship he’s developed, the rest is open to interpretation, but the song reconditions pop music for Rudi’s purposes and musical vision.

Two of Planet Mu’s brightest stars have reinterpreted the song with their remixes, here, Starkey takes the song on a lonely journey into space and Slugabed puts in a mix where the voice drifts in and out of a stop start, rippling bass line and punchy drums.

The EP finishes off with the strange ‘The Udu and the Clave’, an instrumental that combines Zappa-like chromatics with juddering synths and wobbles. (Plant Mu)

Debut d’una de les mes joves (es molt jove) i grans promesses de Irlanda, una mescla de dubstep amb electronica, sintetitzadors, havia debutat amb el ep ‘Resealable Friendship’ i ara ja te el disc, amb la discografica Planer Mu, esta interesant el disc, una bona mescla.

Planet Mu’s prog-dubstep songsmith presents his debut full length. Over 13 tracks Rudi proves he’s got the kinda of dynamic electrosynth chops of Starkey or Kuedo, but reworked with a more prog-poppy and IDM set of coordinates, making for an intensely busy, floridly detailed and engaging listen. Think Tim Exile getting into a serious chat about astro quantum physics with Rick Wakeman while someone twiddles on their 6 headed midi-axe and you’re in the right zone.
