5 Años!!!!! sin editar nada de los Vieneses Sofa Surfers, y su peculiar mezcla de elementos de rock con electronica con el jazz y fusion, pareciendo en momentos trip-hop y el hip-hop…. eclepticismo total, siguen con su experimentación, un buen disco para conocer el grupo a los que no lo conocian, un buen disco. Blindside’ captures the dynamic of a Sofa Surfers concert, creating a textual and acoustic representation of our modern society, of increasingly uncertain identities, of our cohabitation on this world, of a societal skepticism of rushing from crisis to crisis born from the constant pressure to maximize and increase profits. ‘Blindside’ was written over the course of two years in the Sofa Surfer’s own studio and practice room and in various studios in Vienna with a multitude of friends and technicians. Following releases for Klein Records, Virgin, MCA, 18th Street Lounge, the Sofa Surfers are proud to release the 2010 longplayer on their own label Monoscope Productions.
