El rapero de Londres nos presenta su nuevo disco, el segundo con su hip-hop, electro, house, dance, y puestos a pedir colaboraciones, pues se llama a unos amigos y que te produzcan algunos temas, y así tienes en el mismo disco de Example como productores a Don Diablo, Calvin Harris, Sub Focus, Chase & Status, Bart B More y Funkagenda.

Apparently, when west London rapper Example, aka Elliot Gleave, was 10 years old he won a national poetry competition. Listening to From Space, the opening track on his second album, it’s hard to see how that literary potential has been fulfilled: “I got brand new socks, pack of five/ I’ve been down the shops.” The typical rapper bravado is expressed thusly: “Try pigeonhole me/ Other pigeons better watch.” If that all sounds a bit junior school playground, he does have a point – much of Won’t Go Quietly is hard to pin down. On the sleek dance-pop of the title track and Last Ones Standing’s pummelling synths, he’s a less irritating Calvin Harris, while on the piano-inflected Millionaires, he recalls former label boss Mike Skinner’s way with the heartstrings. Elsewhere, Kickstarts is an exuberant electropop love song, Sick Notes (produced by dubstep pioneers Chase & Status) adds a grimier edge, and the whole thing ends with religious questioning on Won’t Believe the Fools. Hace nada teniamos el single de presentación de la hija de Sting (I Blame Coco) con colaboraciones de lujo, ahora (el 28 de junio) saca el nuevo single, con remixes de Sub Focus y La Roux….. y en Septiembre en el Bestival!!!!

Recently debuting with a mighty mix from Diplo on ‘Caesar’, I Blame Coco has stepped it up with follow up ‘Self Machine’. This is set to be a crossover classic. A soaring dystopian disco anthem and a dose of heartfelt, creative electro pop at its finest. Having toured with La Roux and collaborated with Sub Focus, she’s assigned the two to make quick and quality work on the remix front.

First of the mixes comes Sub Focus. Sub Focus has fast become a dance floor favourite; moving clubs in the most magnificent ways. He goes on to deliver an ear shatteringly devastating cut, using the original vocals and his trademark bass lines to full effect.

La Roux on the other hand provides a lighter touch, with silky tones and playful cosmic heats. For her first ever remix, it is pretty damn good!

I Blame Coco is set to release her new single ‘Self Machine’ on June 28th through Island. The followup to critically acclaimed limited edition single ‘Caesar’, ‘Self Machine’ weaves theatrical synth pop together with Coco’s glorious husky, personality packed vocal to create an incomparable sound that’s light years ahead of the pack. Produced by Foat, Boddy and Klashlund and mixed by Mark ‘Spike’ Stent, ‘Self Machine’ features the kind of infectious chorus that will work just as well slipping out the speakers at indie clubs across the nation as it will at down’n'dirty electro discos.

El gran triomfador de Drum ‘n’ Bass l’any passat, despres de 6 anys per treure el primer disc, i aquest any de gira amb Pendulum (toca al Bestival!!!), i ara un Mix per la revista MixMagazine.

Sub Focus was discovered when a friend passed his demo CD onto Ram Records label boss, Andy C. He was then signed to Ram Records sister label Frequency Recordings with his first release “Down The Drain” in 2003.
