Tercer album del grup Italia (Bergamo) de electropop-synthpop, amb una caracteristica veu cantant molt ochentera.
The album starts out with “I Am The Phoenix” and it’s a really great electropop track with a catchy melody but what really makes it so good is the amazing and very sexy voice of female singer Roby. She stands more or less of the main vocals on all tracks but the album also includes great vocals from Eric. “Modern Affair” offers a more synthpop approach together with its cool electronic elements while “Grey Is Not Enough” is a slow moving track with beautiful piano arrangements mixed with the electronics to create this emotional theme. This has brought us the fourth track “What You Wanna Do With Your Life” and this offers a more club-friendly approach with a distinct and pounding bassline and once again great vocals from Roby. The band really plays around with different styles and the music is constantly shifting between electropop, futurepop, synthpop but also offers amazing elements from the 80’s and 90’s. “Dancing Days” is a great example of that with classic tunes to create that poppy 80’s club approach. I love the track and the vocals from Eric works perfectly to this song. “Masterplan” is another amazing track. The vocals reminds me of another Italian band – Blume. The sound is modern with a touch of the 90’s and the melody is great together with an amazing atmosphere this track offers. (BlacVector)
