The original of “I Was Drunk”, featuring those genius ‘did someone say they wanted us to take our clothes off’ French maestros Nôze has caused such a ruckus on the floor these last four months that Made To Play have decided to pour more fire on the Sambuca shots and release some very special mixes which come from steak-for-breakfast house legend DJ Sneak, who drops two main room house refixes (vocal, instro). On the flipside of this shiny vinyl release you’ll also find the Jesse Rose remix of “Dance Me” which he brought back from holiday after going to St Lucia to get on the dancehall vibe.
4 Ep, 3 el año pasado, y este cuarto con 2 temas You y el Before We Talked, y 3 remixes del You hechos por Minotaur, Dam Mantle y Seams. Electronica-experimental-IDM, con algunos puntos de dubstep y todo, están muy bien todos sus ep, esos ritmos bailables y tranquilos, para dejarse llevar un rato por la música. Muy Recomendable.
Gold Panda, the UK native named Derwin (who just refers to himself as Derwin Panda), has recently released his You EP and is in the middle of summer tours with both HEALTH and Caribou. Not a bad summer gig if you ask me. In fact, there isn’t really a whole lot of information about him anywhere, but we know that his work is released via Ghostly International, and that’s usually a sign of high quality experimental music. Por fin, y ya esta el segundo disco de los grandisssimos Bonaparte, después se su gran ep de presentación ‘Computer In Love’ ahora ya el album, a disfrutarlo, que tienen muy buena pinta, desde la portada y el titulo, que no me da tiempo ni a escucharlo…..
My Horse Likes You” is the second full length album by German/Switzerland band Bonaparte. This one has got more electronical influence then the first one, but still is has good indie songs. The album got released today, June 4th.
y como en todos los festivales pasan cosas, te pierdes conciertos, descubres cosas, te roban algo (hijo puta!!!!)….. pero festival festivalon; el SOS Club engancha y de que manera, te pasas horas y horas tirado con la musica, solete,… de los conciertos, lo más destacado-resumen para mi:
Crystal Castles demostraron que cuando quieren, hacen un conciertazo (que se lo digan al SONAR), tocan de puta madre y Alice es imprevisible y brutal, Uffie monto un live muy entretenido, Hot Chip demostraron ser unos músicos profesionales y muy buenos, y con D25 recordamos el Detroit old skool……
We Are Standard estuvieron enchufadissimos desde el primer tema, Madness revival total, Orbital (y ya hace más de 15 años de la primera vez que los vi en directo) increíbles, cada vez mejor, Fatboy Slim aburriendo como siempre y Addictive TV BRUTALES, EL DESCUBRIMIENTO, GRAN GRAN SHOW audio-visual, geniales, la mejor manera de cerrar el festival, que grandes los últimos temas-videos…… un 10 para Addictive TV!!!!!!
Cosas del festival: no pude ver Chris Cunningham ni Magic Numbers ni Tindersticks, cosas que pasan, otra vez será….
PD: 3 bloque-aviso del blog, antes de la DMCA, ahora la RIAA, espero más tarde postear cosas nuevas…. no sé lo que esto durará…… o se tendrá que buscar algún sitio alternativo……
