Muy buen disco de debut, música relajada, con una mezcla de electronica, hip-hop, indie, construyendo una atmósfera hipnótica en el album, introducciones en los temas de instrumentos clasicos, melodias, voces mezcladas con el hip-hop,… para relajarse un buen rato con buena música, comodice el titulo del album ‘We All Want To Fly’……..
Rooted in hip-hop and dipping into elements of indie rock, downtempo, dub and dance, Inspired Flight is taking your pre-conceived notion of what a band and DJ are and merging them into something new and quite hypnotizing.
By creatively integrating traditional DJ elements, like sampling and scratching into original head-nodding songs, this duo from San Diego, CA is carving their own unique niche into music translating into the ultimate electric, live experience. Inspired Flight performs their music live by combining multiple laptops, keyboards and turntables while incorporating guitars, kalimbas, melodicas and vocals.
Inspired Flight has been working hard, rehearsing, remixing, and recording non-stop since they started a little over a year ago. The duo has already opened for Buraka Som Sistema, Bitter:Sweet, Adam Freeland, Louis XIV, and have done remixes for various artists, including a notable piece for the Australian electronic group, Tra La La Blip which got serious attention on Triple J, the Australian national radio outlet. Inspired Flight currently has an EP out called Through Sight and Sound and are working on their first full-length album which will be available in mid 2010.
